From the foundation to a fully operational milling machine
Over the past few months, we have been working hard to build this machine. The process began with preparing the foundation, which involved cutting out the existing floor and installing the rebar. Next, the concrete was poured, and the machine could then be assembled step by step. It was an intensive process in which various disciplines worked closely together to get the UNIPORT 6000 ready for production.
The entire construction process has been captured in a time-lapse video. It clearly shows how the machine evolves from the initial work on the foundation into a fully operational milling machine.
Suitable for large workpieces
The UNIPORT 6000 milling machine is suitable for the precise machining of large workpieces with maximum dimensions of:
- 8,000 × 3,500 × 1,300 mm
With this expansion, we now have additional capacity for CNC milling of large and complex parts. This allows us to better support our customers with both one-off and production-run machining, without compromising on the quality and precision that De Rooy Precision stands for.
Continue to Invest in the Future
The commissioning of our fifth UNIPORT 6000 is in line with our ambition to continue investing in capacity, quality, and delivery reliability. By continuously expanding our machine fleet, we are prepared to meet the growing demand for the machining of large and complex workpieces and can continue to provide our customers with the quality and flexibility they have come to expect from De Rooy Precision.
